The 250 ones are still available but i am guessing you want the vented look? I am afraid you will have to just get a set and give them a shot. I am pretty sure if thye are not a direct bolt on they would be very close and possible to make fit fit an adjustment or two. Its worth a try.

If you look carefully at the screen grabs from the DC Plastics site, I think the mounting tabs on top look differently positioned. It's only a best guess, they may fit. But what do you think? These are sold as RM primarily, could the official PE 250 side plates differ? Link to screen grab

I'm sure those could be made to fit, they look real close as it is. Good look.

Thanks for the replies and the screen grab. I thought I've seen the vented ones on 250 and 370 RMs in the past. Some new 175 plates came up on ebay and I do like the vents. The new oem plates are silver and I would like to keep it all yellow. The DCs look ok but would rather have oem.

Hi james. Get the silver ones. This is how they came out of the factory and I believe there is no definitive answer for this. However with nail polish remover or acetone you can carefully rub the silver off to expose the OEM yellow underneath or just use them as silver like I do.

Paint stripper removes the silver paint so dont worry about it. New ones often don't come silver painted now. Suzuki stopped dong that.
This is yellow but i would ask them first to make sure they are not gonna supply the painted one

Dont forget vintage suzuki has them too

James. I have found my pe175c oem side plates and tried fitting on my 250c. Right side ok but left side is just short to cover up to the muffler.

I think you might have guessed that from the screen grab I posted. Well, are you going to leave it? Maybe you can carefully cutout the stock plate adding the slots? Very slowly, and smooth with a Dremel tool. chuck b. [/quote]

OK thanks terrapista for having the plates and doing the leg work, that's what I wanted to know. I also appreciate all the other replies. I will probably buy the oem silver ones and go silver. If some used 175s come up on ebay really cheap, I might try them just for a test fit.
