Hi All,
This is my first post here but I have been a member of the PE Facebook page for some time and I have a couple of 400s.
You may or may not be aware but we have located a plastic tank manufacturer and are on the way down the root of taking orders for a roto moulded replacement tank that is to be as close to the original as is possible to make.
The model we are producing is a 1979 date code. I had this digitally scanned and files produced from that scan. I have also sent a tank to the supplier as well.
I'm not good with forums and image linking etc so I can't add the images of the 3d scanned file and the subsequent hard CAD files that are now with the supplier.
We have a confirmed cost of $220 US and a lead time of 120 days from the placement of orders. We needed 40 orders and we have that commitment from the Facebook group so this is a goer.
If you have access to Facebook go and have a look here

Also go have a look at www.gilimoto.com.br to see the type of work they are doing.
To be included in the first batch you need to commit to $90 US up front to pay for the tooling costs and the remainder plus shipping costs at the point of tank completion.
The cost will be plus shipping (From Sao Paulo Brazil) and plus import duty in your country.
So, we are finally looking to resolve the ever present problems of splitting plastic tanks.
Let me know if you would be interested.
