My bike is a '78 PE175, and I have an opportunity to get a "late '70s" PE250 parts bike with a missing seat, exhaust, and ignition coil, and the plastics are wratched, but has a "good motor" and what appear to be good frame, wheels, suspension, and headlight. What is swappable? My bike is complete and runs, but I think there might be some value in obtaining parts when they become available, even if not currently needed.
P.S. My spell checker didn't like "wratched" so I tried looking it up. I grew up with the word, so thought it was common, but it turns out it's likely local to Western Canada, and means (my definition): torn, scratched, gouged, bent, etc., i.e., damaged to make it undesirable or not function well, but not completely destroyed or unusable.

This is probably not going to make you happy, but not much may be interchangeable beyond the usual like headlight, gas tank, "perhaps" forks....Some electronics too perhaps ... This is what you can start with - SUZUKI PARTS. With patience, you can check for interchangeable parts using the program... It is found at Luke's One Drive, where there is lots of other information. Of course, some parts may be modified to fit, but I don't think you will be using it as a donor bike, it might, if the price is right, be a good project to restore ;-) chuck b.

Thanks, Chuck, I think I'll take a pass on this; too much on my to-do list to add a bike restoration, especially if the bike isn't ridable in the mean time. For the cost of the missing parts, I could have a ridable bike and money left over to buy gas and ride it.
