I understand there is no availability for the tool, Suzuki 09817-00021, #16 below. Does anyone have good photos and a description of the various features, so I could possibly make my own with all the same functions?

There might be a better, more accurate version on Luke's SkyDrive but this is diagram I made shared in my dropbox ... - The brackets diagram I'm sure can be found in Lukes SkyDrive. That link can be found in the links section ...

Thanks, that's very helpful. Luke's files do indeed include a CAD drawing of the tool with all the detail one could possibly need. Since I haven't actually started wrenching on my PE175, I'm baffled by the purpose of the 12mm wrench being at 90° to the rest of the tool, for which it would be difficult to get much leverage, and I'm also baffled by the purpose of the pin protruding from it. I've done all my own maintenance and repair on my cars/trucks/vans and on my Honda Valkyrie street bike, but I've never had a dirt bike before, nor a 2-stroke engine.

My guess is that the 'pin' is used to pull the axle out of the wheels, although I usually use another screwdriver ... It was the first mass produced motorcycle multitool I remember, others copied it and had their own versions ;-) The later tool had a separate wrench attached so they did try and improve it.
