For the guys in Oz...
I have reproduced this deflector/buffer slider from a mould of the original and have cast it from PMC790 by Smooth-On - rather tough stuff. They say it is as hard and tough as car tyres.
My test was a full Vinduro race and a VMX event, and the wear was not that bad.
As you guys on the forum mostly offer great advice I wanted to offer them to you - for the Oz members - at a very discounted rate - basically to get my manufacture costs back and cover the shipping.
The idea is to ship them all to one place in Australia and then somebody can distribute from there to remote people there. Shipping from South Africa is a killer.
I would gather the orders, manufacture them and then ship them together to somebody who volunteers in Australia to then ship in Australia.
Shipping we would work out when orders are confirmed - only recovering what it costs.
Each buffer would cost US$20 and produced in blue as per the pics.
Would anybody be keen? Currently I have them on eBay at $59.
I know this is not a "for sale" section, but this is more a favour to the Oz members.
