Hi, am new to here. I have a PE400 and RS250, both 1980, that I am renovating 100% and it would be very useful to know if the paint colour for the swinging arm/shocks etc is still available from anywhere. I tracked the colour code down to the last 3 numbers of the parts which apparently is "champagne", but have been unable to locate the paint from anywhere. Does anyone know if this is still available or a good alternative? I know that no-one is going to able to tell if I paint a different coloured silver arm and match into the shocks but am trying to get these bikes as original as possible so any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Andrew

The PE 400 has aluminium swingarm and it is silver anodized which is a chemical process. The steel swingarms on the RS250 is painted. The colour is called champagne gold metallic. The colour code is Suzuki 35P. Go to any auto paint supplier and ask for Suzuki 35P and you will get the exact right paint. The handlebars and triple clamps are this colour and also on some models the shock springs too. You can also ask for it by the Du Pont or Spies Hecker number which is 90595. The colour chip card can be found at bottom of this page onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AOkK3IcWHjEwemw&id=407D7EF0965D3991%211086&cid=407D7EF0965D3991
